We treasure our heritage, which includes beautiful cave art in locations only known to family members. We are happy to provide photgraphs you can download or buy of Rock Paintings from our traditional land in Tasmania & eastern N.S.W., also sites from other parts of Australia we have collected on our travels. You can have a piece of Aboriginal art cheaply by buying or downloading prints of original art or enjoy the beauty of an investment painting or dinky-di didgeridoo. As Aboriginal Australian we want you to know & appreciate as much about our culture as possible. Items for sale come from all over Australia including beaufiful dot paintings & x-ray art. We try to keep our information as factual as possible. We welcome your comments. Please feel free to contact us.

We are very involved with the aboriginal community here in the Hunter Valley. We do a large amount of voluntary work not only with "support groups" and the local Land Councils, but also in our role of traditional guardians of the land. We regularly check caves for damage and are actively involved with charting sites of interests & finding new caves. Our parents & grandparents mentioned sites in remote locations that have still to be re-located & listed for protection if this is possible. (Protection can means that sites become publicly known - which is a potential threat as well.) As all this work is voluntary, it costs us money. As mentioned previously we are hoping to purchase outright one property containing caves featured on this site. This web site evolved as a result of our interests in protecting our heritage. We started as a business on Sept. 1, 2002. Since then we have come to appreciate even more the talents & abilities of our fellow aboriginal artists here in the Hunter valley. Unfortunately many have not had the exposure that their talents deserve or the ability to sell their work worldwide. Unfortunately the myth exists in some circles that only "desert aborigines" have real art or any true culture left. Those of us from N.S.W. and Tasmania may have had exposure to Europeans for 200 years, but we have never ceased being aboriginal nor have we lost our heritage, our art, our attatchment, knowledge & love of our traditional lands. As funds permit I will be including more artists & their works on this site. Like many other indigenous people, post-European times have brought many changes that are not good to our society. Such things as unemployment also cause great problems for our people. I believe that helping our young ones to feel pride in their history & culture is an antidote to these negatives. Our strong passion to help our people as best we can and to preserve all our varied art forms inspire our work.

We guarantee that all artwork bought directly from this site is the original work of an Indigenous Australian artist.   All prints we sell of original paintings are clearly marked as such & are limited editions approved by the copyright owner. While we take extreme care in selecting any affiliates we may become associated with; we can not be held responsible for the authenticity of any item they stock. All photographs are produced using archival quality materials.   With the exception of historical re-productions all photographs we sell are taken by Indigenous Australians with due respect to custom. At present we use Paypal for payment of all orders - you can use your credit card. Email us for other payment options.

It is our policy to conduct ourselves honesty & politely at all times.   We endeavour to deal with all orders & enquires as quickly as possible.   We pack all our artwork as securely as possible & will email our customers when an item is shipped. For larger artworks & didgeridoos we use the services of a delivery firm very experienced in shipping artworks. Any expected delivery dates are what is given us by Australia Post & are outside of our control.

Any details of painting & their stories are what our artists have told us; obviously we can see the quality of their work, but we also rely on their integrity. We sell some historical items, & collectable items such as old boomerangs & spears. While we check on things as best we can & use our knowledge of our customs to verify the truthfulnes of claims, in some instances we can be relying on the integrity of others as to where in Australia the object originated.

All our didgeridoos are playable. Because we are concerned about the origins, genuiness & the quality of the artwork, we do not go into details as the key etc of the instruments. (If we are told details by the maker we will pass them on.) Our people never used scales to measure the sound of their instrument, so we follow custom. Frankly, to a large extend the sound of any didge varies with the player & their technique; so listening to a recording of how your future didgeridoo will sound (with you playing it!) is a bit of a gimic in my opinion. Feel free to disagree. Any song is played by going up & down tones & half tones. Any didgeridoo player can play a variety of notes & therefore a large number of tunes once they master any instrument.

Shipping Costs - All photographs and artwork & craft will be shipped by airmail from Australia.   We are presently changing our postage charging system. All our paintings & products (excluding ofcourse downloads which have no postage) except photos will have shipping costs added after purchase. This is a fairer system to all our customers as shipping costs vary by location. You will be notified by email what the shipping costs (& any options you have regarding services) & these will need to be paid before the item is shipped.   We can not be held responsibly for any delays caused by Australia Post. Australia Post has an excellent reputation for reliablility & delivery times.   Some of our oversized items will be sent by courier to Australian customers - same reason as in brackets above. For mutiple purchases we will consider giving a discount, please feel free to email us if you are genuine about purchasing. Just repeating all your purchases are insured - if an item is lost in the post, you will get your money refunded.

Returns policy – returns will only be accepted if the item is defective in some way or if the wrong item was shipped. Please email us as soon as the item arrives if you have a problem. Our policy is to have good photos & description of any item we have for sale, so you can make an informed choice. We are willing to answer questions or email further photos of a painting or didgeridoo etc if you need help in deciding on a purchase. NB Because of page loading time considerations we can only have medium to low pixels photos on this site; therefore the colours of our paintings, photos & didges are even nicer than illustrated, therefore we tend to have happy customers. For expensive items we are willing to use an escrow service if requested to do so.
Also it should be obvious that because we specialise in authentic products some items on this site are not new; as age usually makes Aboriginal Art & Craft more valuable we do not refund for that reason. In practise almost all of our paintings, didges & boomerangs are new. Some items have the date engraved by the artist.

Our Cart -   Our Cart is operated by Mal's E-commerce. All our checkout pages are totally secure with the latest encyrupting technology being used. You can check on Mal's repution to satisfy yourself as to security. To proceed from the cart to checkout you will need to select an item category. Downloads add no shipping costs of course, photos have shipping cost added.   You will be notified by email what the postage charges on larger items are.   At present we only accept Paypal.
